Shades
Roller/Solar Shades:
Architectural glass creates bright, open spaces, but also results in excessive heat,
glare, reduced privacy and UV damage, leading to fading and discoloration of
furnishings.
Manual or Motorized Solar Shades can regulate the amount of sun light coming through
any window, controlling glare and brightness, and keeping harmful solar rays off your
carpeting, furniture, artwork and valuable antiques. You can maintain a more
comfortable, consistent temperature throughout the entire house and significantly
reduce your heating and air conditioning costs.
Solar Shades consist of combination of fiberglass and polyester yarns. Fabrics vary in
openness, from 1% to 15%, providing a wide range of design options. Unlike many
fabrics, Solar Shade fabrics allow outward visibility based on openness factor, even
when closed.
Roman Shades:
Recently, Roman Shades have become a popular choice for designers in window
coverings. Roman Shades are the only window treatment alternative to drapery made
from real fabric. Selections are just about unlimited, because there are millions of
fabrics available in every conceivable color and design. We also can motorize our
Roman Shades, using tubular motors from Mechoshade or Lutron.
